MUSIC TEAM



The Music Worship Teams participate in all services.  The musicians play guitars, drums, piano, organ and flute and lead the service together with the singers. The morning worship team is supported by a Music Support Group for those who prefer the choral style of worship. Please contact the Church office if you'd like to be part of this ministry, we are really needing anyone who can help in this ministry.

HOSPITAL VISITORS

Teams of people visit those whom we know are sick in hospital and care for them in whatever way we can. 

As the hospitals are not able to publish a list stating the denomination of patients, PLEASE NOTIFY THE OFFICE IF YOU ARE GOING TO HOSPITAL, and to which hospital, in order that we can care for you.  Flowers from the services on Sunday are also distributed to people on a Monday to show that we care.

PRAYER CIRCLE

A band of ladies and men are permanently on call to pray for any prayer requests forwarded to them.  They link telephonically and will pray for whatever situation, crisis or illness is being faced.

Di Hattingh is the coordinator and can be contacted through the Church Office.

All requests are treated confidentially. You are invited to allow this prayer circle to support you in your time of need, by contacting the Church Office.

HEALING & PRAYER TEAM

The vision of the Prayer and Healing Team is to make our church a refuge for those who are troubled.  This ministry team serves our Lord and Saviour by fulfilling His instructions to preach the gospel and to heal the sick.  Team members meet regularly to be equipped for this ministry and to organise the monthly healing service as well as the occasional seminar.

Opportunities for healing and prayer will be arranged at worship services. Mary Schatz is the co-ordinator.

PRAYER CARDS : As part of the PRAYER MINISTRY of our church, Prayer Cards are made available at each Communion Service for people to fill in regarding prayer needs. This gives us an opportunity to PRAY for people and situations they find themselves in as well as to THANK GOD for blessings received and for answered prayer.

These cards are collected and distributed to the various Cell Groups to pray for the needs as reflected on the cards.

We invite you to share in this prayer ministry by filling in the prayer request/thank you cards at the Communion services.

FINANCE AND PROPERTY COMMITTEE

Our church’s finances and property are under the care of the Finance and Property Committee, chaired by Kent Georgala.  Financial statements are made available each month, a budget is presented to the Annual General Meeting and the accounts are audited annually.
